According to data by the Bureau of Labor Statistics. the U.S. national average for a kilowatt-hour of electrical power hit a new March record of 13.5 cents.     This is up 5.5% from the 12.8 cents per kilowatt-hour in 2013.

According to Jim Rickards, we are in the midst of a currency war where currencies are racing to the bottom.     In response, Russia and China have increased their physical gold reserves by 70% and several hundred percent respectively.    In addition, oil rich Saudi Arabia feels stabbed in the back with the U.S. giving the green light for Iranian nuclear development.     More and more, other nations are working together on an economic front and this spells bad news for the U.S. Dollar.

The Reserve Bank of India is discouraging banks from using agricultural land as collateral in loans.     To that end, Indian banks are now pushing farmers to back loans with gold as a collateral.    Of course, once the gold is given to the banks and the loan is paid off, will the farmers get their gold back?
