Chinese Steel
http://www.zerohedge.com

China’s steel and metals markets, a barometer of the world’s largest economy, shows plummeting demand. Falling demand from China has been a major factor in the collapse of iron ore prices. 2016 is likely to be an even tougher year than 2015 for prices as China steel production declines persist.

Fiscal Volatility
http://www.zerohedge.com

Citing lower state tax revenue, officials at the White House are warning that states need to be much more prepared for very volatile fiscal conditions. They go on to say that state governments have a little more than half the reserves they had stashed away before the 18 month recession that supposedly ended in 2009.

With stock prices rushing far ahead of economic reality over the last six or so years, more experts in the financial markets are coming to the same conclusion, even if they don’t fully understand how, that stock markets, and likely other financial markets, are being rigged. Well, Duh!!!

Coming Gold Rush
http://srsroccoreport.com

Official sources indicate that there is a total of 177,000 metric tons of gold that has been mined in the world, with approximately 12,780 metric tons of gold mined before 1493. Since the Western U.S. Dollar based monetary system is headed for a train wreck, there will be a lot of worthless dollars chasing after physical assets and that is when the paper games for gold will end.

Encryption Solution?
http://www.washingtonpost.com

If this is to be believed, the head of the NSA has provided a hint of a technical solution to the problem of allowing government access to encrypted data on smartphones without compromising the security of law-abiding customers. Yeah, right! Anyway, it would require technology companies to create a digital key that is divided into pieces; such that no one person, or agency, could use it. Unfortunately, with the revelation that tech companies are already working with the government, no one with an IQ greater than their shoe size would fall for this scheme unless they were in on it.

Empty Threat
http://www.politico.com

As the U.S. Treasury conducts some extraordinary tap dancing to keep the government spending in deficit spending mode.    Treasury Secretary Lew warned that if the debt limit is not raised by October 17th, the U.S. will be in default.    Sorry, that is not quite true.     The fact is that the U.S. government will, for the first time in decades, be forced to spend only what it brings in.    Yes, that means a lot of programs will be cut; however, that is the price that must be paid for fiscal responsibility.    A term that many in Washington are clueless about.

Gold Take-down
http://kingworldnews.com

Robin Griffiths, of Cazenove Capital out of London, believes a lot of very big entities have a vested interest in gold and silver prices not rocketing up right now. While paper is easy to trade, obtaining the physical in large quantities is extremely difficult.    India and China are mopping up vast amounts of gold.   He goes on to say that the gold price should test the 1180 dollar mark; however, it is going to rocket up.

They’re Axed!
http://www.zerohedge.com

Some good news has come from the government shutdown; in that, we are finding out how many non-essential government employees there are.    91% of the 94,500 IRS employees are axed!    93% of the 16,000 at the EPA are axed.   Of the 2 million government employees, 41%, or over 815,000, are axed!   Now, where is the downside to this shut-down again?

Blocking the NSA?
http://www.techspot.com

A 100 dollar device, by John McAfee, would communicate with smart devices to create a decentralized network that cannot be accessed by government agencies.   So, we are to believe that the U.S. Government is going to allow this device without any back-doors?

Constitutional Rights
http://gunwatch.blogspot.com

In addressing state gun legislation, the Missouri Supreme court has held that the removal of a persons right to keep and bear arms is not a punishment.    Just one question for these super-genius’s…    If a state has a law to allow for the torture of citizens, without conviction, is it legal since these citizens are not being punished?

I will be away for the next few days at a family reunion with very limited access to the web; thus, there will be no reports until I get back.

Japanese Economy Sinking
http://www.cnbc.com

The Japanese economy shrank in the third quarter.   Japan’s Central Bank has responded with more powerful monetary easing; such as, expanding its asset purchase program by $138.5 billion in October.   Japan’s only hope, at the moment, is for overseas economies to pick up before Japan’s own economy picks up.   In short, Japan is screwed.

Spain Declares 2-Year Moratorium on Evictions
http://finance.townhall.com

The economy is getting so bad that people, served with evictions, were committing suicide.   In response, the Spanish government has placed a 2-year moratorium on evictions.   Needless to say, people will no longer have no incentive to pay their mortgages for the next two years and this will be a nightmare on landowners.   So what will be their plan a year from now when broke landlords begin committing suicide?   Why not just declare a moratorium on suicides?

US Dollar Reserve Currency
http://www.wealthwire.com

It is no secret that China is replacing the U.S. dollar with its own currency in more and more of its bilateral trading.    In fact, Chinese currency may soon have equal status with the U.S. dollar because of competitive devaluation.    As more and more nations start using other currencies, the dollar may go into the waste-bin of history; therefore, it is best not to be in dollar denominated assets and into something that is more long term.   With that in mind, after preparing, keep stacking physical.

Obama’s Fiscal Cliff Plan
http://www.cnbc.com

Emboldened by his decisive re-election, Obama is looking to renew budget talks and end grid lock.    He wants to avert the “Fiscal Cliff” that he signed into law.    He wants to overhaul the tax code.    In short, he wants to wiggle out of responsibility for the “Fiscal Cliff” and raise taxes on the wealthy without cutting spending.   Here is an example of how dire the “Fiscal Cliff” is.   The wealthy are dumping their assets, and selling their businessess, before the start of next year.

The Die Is Cast
http://kingworldnews.com

To no surprise, Robert Fitzwilson, joins many others believing that last week’s election ensured that we are now charging headlong for financial Armageddon.    There is no turning back.   The voters have in effect demanded hyperinflation and destruction of economies and currencies. In short, the voters have repeated Julies Caesar’s own march across the Rubicon into a foreboding future and they don’t realize it yet.

Red Cross Flawless With Sandy
http://usnews.nbcnews.com

Officials at the Red Cross are claiming that their response to superstorm Sandy was flawless.   Stop laughing folks, they’re serious!    Despite their slow response, with a week’s advance warning, in helping those affected by the storm, they have successfully raised more than $85 million.   To scam err… raise that kind of money so quickly is very impressive.  If they keep this up, they will be bigger than Apple!

Apple Scrambles
http://www.zerohedge.com

Make no mistake…    With Apple coming out with new versions of Iphones and Ipads every few months, the idea that people are willing to drop their current devices and buy the latest and greatest is beginning to have a negative feedback.    There is a difference between wanting something and needing something.    Officials at Apple simply have not conveyed the “need” part with their releases; thus, expect Apple to begin a nose dive.
