Potential US Nuclear Reactor Crisis

News Flash:

The Fukushima nuclear reactor accident is worse than being reported, or should I say ignored, by the mainstream media.    What is interesting is that out of the 104 operating nuclear power plants in the U.S., 11 of those nuclear power plants have the same 8 hour battery back-up as that at Fukushima and the other 93 reactors only have a 4 hour batter back-up.    The back-up battery supply are needed to ensure that a minor incident at the reactor, where it has an emergency shutdown (SCRAM) and loses primary pumps to keep the reactor from over heating, does not turn into a major disaster where people’s lives are at risk when the pumps can no longer supply cool water to the reactor.    Needless to say, the backups need backups for the backups and the length of time needs to be changed from hours to days.

It it also a good idea to keep a large tank of neutron-absorbing boron and/or hafnium to pump into the reactors to ensure it permanently shuts down if the battery power is about to end.   So, will the Department of Energy see to the public safety?   Only after another major U.S. nuclear reactor accident because they are reactive and not proactive about safety.

Fed Reveals Emergency Borrowing by Banks

The Royal Bank of Canada, UBS, and maybe your local bank all borrowed money from the Fed during the third quarter of 2010.    Average use of primary credit from the discount window, the main form of the emergency loan, was $11m to $36m during the quarter.    Some small community banks, like Gorham Savings Bank in Maine, made more frequent or heavy use of the discount window.     The short of it is, this information is over two years old and there is no telling how damaged even local banks are at this point.

Fast and Furious Scandal Grows

Obama, Holder, and their fellow criminals were hoping that the bogus report by the Department of Injustice on Operation Fast and Furious would be the last word; however, they did not count on Univision dropping a bombshell for the 1st of October.    This video clearly tells how the U.S. Government funneled high calabur weapons to Mexican drug cartels.    And you know, they were not going to use those weapons for deer hunting.

The video tells that the consequences of the illegal operation “Fast and Furious” was far more deadlier than let on.    No one should be surprised at the extent Holder lied about the operation and the consequences. Lies have become the hallmark theme for this so-called transparent administration.    The story goes on to describe how the Obama administration purposely evaded the truth coming out by having a key witness, O’Reilly – a White House National Security staffer, transferred to Iraq just days before was to be called as a witness.

Even though the U.S. media has covered for the Obama administration, other international media sources, will not allow the hundreds of people killed, indirectly by the Obama administration to go uninvestigated.    So, will those responsible for the hundreds of deaths, not only in Mexico, but in Central America as well, be brought to justice?    Do not count on it any time soon.
