For over 70 years, the U.S. Dollar has been the predominate currency in world trade.     Today, things are changing very quickly.   The combined 2013 GDP of the U.S. and the EU is about 34.2 trillion dollars according the the World Bank with the U.S. producing 16.8 trillion dollars.    On the other hand, the BRICS is about 29.6 trillion dollars with China producing 16.2, which is short of the U.S. by 600 billion dollars.   But, how much of the U.S. GDP is from the Fed’s QE?   Needless to say, the BRICS are coming into their own.
