Blow-back Escalates

Germany’s blow-back against gold manipulation is accelerating after saying it is worse than the LIBOR scandal.    Deutsche Bank will be withdrawing from gold and silver price fixing as European regulators investigate.   If the price fixing ends, the manipulators, or central banks, would be the big losers.   Needless to say, Germany’s gold is simply gone and the Germans will likely never see that gold ever.

Where is the German Gold?

Almost a year ago, the German government placed a formal request to repatriate their gold from the Fed.     To date, they have repatriated 37 out of the 700 tons of gold and it is not the original gold bars given to the Fed.     The original German gold in the U.S. is apparently gone as it has likely been sold and rehypothecated many times over.     This German gold story only adds intrigue and fuel for the fire.

Germany’s financial regulator is demanding documents from Deutsche Bank as part of an ongoing investigation into gold price manipulation.   Working with other investigators, like the UK’s Financial Conduct Authority, there is growing suspicion of gold price manipulation –  Especially after the LIBOR interbank lending scandal was proven true.    Needless to say, the Fed will likely stonewall any investigations.

As per the Constitution, the burden of proof is on the state and not the defendant.    So, a photo, alone, of the license plate of a car speeding is not enough for conviction.    The state must prove the identify of the driver, and without that information, the speeding ticket must be nullified.    At least for now…
