The Government Cannot Take Away Our Guns

History is littered with people for gun-control…. Hitler, Stalin, Mussolini, Mao and Obama to name a few.    47% of Americans claim they own guns and it is a pretty good idea that many more do, but will not admit to it.    In addition, by a large margin, the U.S. military supports the Constitution and not Obama first.    While laws can be passed, or Executive Orders signed, the act of actually taking guns away from Americans would likely result in an all-out insurrection.    These insurrections would definitely shut down stores that Obama’s welfare supporters need for getting their food.   Obama, Feinstein, and others, siding with their allies in communist China, going against the U.S. Constitution may not go over too well.

A new study, from the widely respected National Bureau of Economic Research, confirms that the Community Reinvestment Act, that was enacted under Carter and made more aggressive under Clinton, was directly responsible for imploding the housing market causing the miserable economy we see today.    Of course, the military industrial complex and wars, funded by Republican spending did not make things easier.    In short, the smaller the government, the better the government.

UPS Joins Postal Service Workers in Crime

First, it was Postal workers illegally cashing government checks,  now there is a surveillance video of a UPS employee stealing a iPad mini.    At first, UPS was unhelpful; however, thanks to the video being online, UPS did a 180 and had the driver arrested.     With so much crime, it may be a good idea to have all packages sent signature required.

Members of the US Conference Board believe the economic boom, by the BRIC countries, is now over and that there will be a drastic slowdown over the next decade.    They went on to report that a lack of demand lies behind the current global malaise, but the fading technology cycle may prove a greater threat over the long-term.   Guess a small example of the fading technology cycle would be what is happening with Apple.

US Budget Deficit Soars

In the month of October, the US government budget deficit rocketed up $304.3 billion.    This is the third biggest October monthly increase in spending for the government ever, which trailed the 2008 and 2009 increases due to government spending reactions to the initial 2008 fiscal crisis.   The October deficit spending was going down slightly; however, we have turned the corner and not in a good way.

Nullification Goes Mainstream

As the federal government gradually assimilates the nation, a few states are fighting back; in regards to Obamacare. Missouri and Kansas will not be able to implement a key provision of Obamacare.   Both Idaho and Virgina passed legislation nullifying Obamacare within their states.   In short, more states are enforcing the 10th amendment of the U.S. Constitution; however, it is unlikely that a lawless Washington will observe state’s rights.

The Texas legislature, following the example set by Thomas Jefferson when he drafted the Kentucky Resolution of 1798, will take up a bill to prevent the perverts at the TSA from feeling up people without probable cause.   Another bill to be brought up is one that would block any attempt to indefinitely detain people.   This has a good chance of success; due to the 10th amendment.

4. Texan citizens are well-armed.
5. Texas has twice seceded.   Once, from Mexico, in 1836 and during the American Civil War.

The Odds At 90%

Even if the German High Court finds that there is a way to support the ESM, Germany with a GDP of $3.5 trillion does not have the capital, resources, or the assets to support the rest of Europe.   It is a 90% bet that the ECB cannot do anything substantive without the support of Germany and Germany will not keep handing Greece money forever.
