Fed Desperate To Avoid Collapse

The government fixes the bond price and banks fix the LIBOR rate; therefore, why would the Fed not attempt to suppress the gold price?    The Federal Reserve can print all of the dollars it needs in order to support bond prices, but printing dollars doesn’t support the dollar price.    The Fed does not have the power to print foreign currencies with which to support the dollar price.    To that end, central banks are acquiring and accumulating physical gold using their dollars, and lightening their dollar load.

Sugar Bailout

Under the 1934 Sugar Act, the government is required to provide sugar processors with loans each year.   This year, plummeting sugar prices have put sugar companies at risk of defaulting on the 862 million dollars in loans.  To that end, the Department of Agriculture is planning to buy 400,000 tons of sugar to get prices to go up.   This fake demand for sugar will force prices of foods, made with sugar, to increase in price.

It turns out that the Italian median household net wealth, at about 163,000 euros, has increased 56% since 1991, and from 2008 to 2010, it increased by about 5% annually, despite the crisis!    Germany, on the other hand, has a median household net wealth half of Italy at about 76,000 euros and their economy has stagnated during much of that time while they paid taxes out of their noses.    And Italy wants Germany to bail them out?

In a unanimous ruling, the 9th Circuit Court bitch-slapped Homeland Insecurity by ruling that Border Protection officers cannot confiscate, or download, every laptop or electronic device brought into the U.S. without “reasonable suspicion.”    Wow!     I am absolutely stunned that the 9th Circuit Appeals Court got something correct.   The only question is whether “reasonable suspicion” will be one that requires a warrant, as per the 4th amendment of the Constitution.

According to Eric Sprott, 30% of U.S. annual gold production is exported to China, via Hong Kong.     In addition, after reading the so-called audit of the New York Fed, he believes that the there may only be 350 tons of gold at the New York Fed and the Germans might be surprised to learn that it is theirs.    He then states that the Fed may be exporting German, Dutch, and Austrian gold to China in attempt to keep the ponzi scheme going.
