141204 – Food as Weapons?

Today’s Items:

Japan’s Downgrade

Moody’s downgraded Japan from Aa3 to A1. This is because of uncertainty on deficit reduction goals, growth with background deflationary pressure, and rising government bond yields. Perhaps another reason is that Moody’s payoff, by Japan, was lost? So, with U.S. debt now above 18 trillion dollars, will the U.S. see another downgrade or is the check in the mail?

Last month, foreign nations repatriated 1.35 million ounces of gold from the New York Fed. The last time that foreign nations repatriated over 1 million ounces of Gold from the New York Fed in a single month was September of 2008, when they repatriated 1.11 million ounces. This was just prior to the financial crisis that started in October 2008.

Commodity Derivatives

Rapidly falling oil prices could trigger a nightmare scenario for the commodity derivatives market and the six largest “too big to jail” banks; which control $3.9 trillion in commodity derivatives contracts, could experience absolutely massive losses. Most of the time, these big banks come out on top; however, this time, the house of cards may come toppling down upon them and it would virtually guarantee a full-blown economic meltdown as China now becomes the world’s biggest economy.

Retail Disaster

Sales during the four-day Thanksgiving holiday period crashed from 57.4 to 50.9 billion dollars, or 11%. So, if 70% of the U.S. economy is based on consumer spending, should we be surprised to hear how the stock market will make yet another record high in the near future?

Food as Weapons?

The U.S. government has been doing the following, among other things…
1. Reducing EBT card payouts to the poor.
2. Stockpiling survival food as far back as 2008.
3. Getting ready with martial law plans with the impending debt crisis.
History clearly demonstrates that dictatorial regimes, whether they be Socialists, Communists, or Marxists will not hesitate to use food as a weapon against their own people in order to solidify power and impose absolute autocratic control.

Commercial Assisted Suicide?

People are now proposing that entrepreneurs should be able to go into business to make people painlessly die. Perhaps, one day there will be suicide centers, with a nice-sounding names; so that, Soylent Green can finally be commercially produced to quell the masses. Belgian euthanasia doctors are even touring Auschwitz, that they call an “inspiring venue”, to… Perhaps, get a good start?

Police Stockpiling

Please check this site out and see what military equipment your city has been stockpiling to prepare for martial law. For example, why would a town of 50,000 need 3 tactical assault vehicles that would be used in Iraq or Iran? See how well militarized your local law enforcement agencies are.

Kids in Baltimore

According to a global survey, Baltimore adolescents, located 40 miles from the White House, exhibited considerably high rates of mental health issues, substance abuse, sexual risk-taking, sexual violence, and teen pregnancy. In comparison, adolescents in New Delhi exhibited far fewer of those behaviors and outcomes, despite residing in a much less prosperous nation.

Finally, please prepare now for the escalating economic and social unrest. Good Day!
