Hard to get your head around all those zeroes? Let’s remove some of them and put the numbers into better perspective.

Deficit:                                           $90,100
Balance on your credit cards:  $1,640,000
Wow! If this were your financial statement, you would be in prison; however, since we have criminals running the government, everything is fine.  Of course, they could just implement their plan to cast those 1 trillion dollar platinum coins and pay off the debt that way.

Unemployment Rate 7.8%

The BLS, reports that 155,000 jobs were added in December and the official unemployment was 7.8%.    Construction and manufacturing jobs increased by 30,000 and 25,000 respectively.    The Underemployment rate, U-6, remains steady at 14.5% and the labor force participation rate is 63.6%. what is unusual?    These are the same relative numbers despite the holiday season where there were supposed to be a lot of temporary hires.   In addition, older people, who are in debt, are not retiring and keeping their jobs; thus effectively, blocking the young from getting jobs.

December 2012 American Eagle Silver Coin Sales 3rd Highest in History

The US Mint sold over 33.7 million one ounce American Silver Eagles in 2012.    The reason it was not higher is because the mint did not have any eagles to sell in December.    The US Mint sold 7,000 ounces of gold eagles and 5,000 ounces of gold buffaloes.

Retail Sales Confirm “You Can’t Spend What You Don’t Have”

The year-over-year change in retail sales is indicating per capita disposable income is set to decline further.    Americans did not spend any more than usual this November, and upper-income Americans appear to be spending less than usual.    Those making over $90k per year report recent spending at its lowest for this time of year since 2008.    So, the obvious solution, in the view of the government, is more money printing.

The Department of Homeland Insecurity has awarded a contract for 200,000 rounds of ammunition with a company, in Las Vegas, that has, as its address, a parking lot across from a gas station.    Furthermore, this company formed on December 12th, 2012 and has no property or telephone records; therefore, is this another payoff for Senator douche-bag Harry Reid?

Greece Needs A New Bailout

Greece’s financial system, i.e. its banks, are utterly insolvent.    The private banking system can no longer create money by handing out loans to a just as insolvent broader population.    In addition, the European Central Bank is no longer injecting direct liquidity into the Greek economy.    To that end, Greece needs a 50 billion euro bailout and the question is….    Will Germany give them the funds with the German elections coming up?

According to Stephen Leeb, the Chinese have helped keep the price of gold and silver down, and because they want to recapitalize their banks and get rid of bad loans, they will push for gold to be a Tier-1 asset and let the price of gold rise.    He goes on to say that this may be the year in which the Chinese really do let gold fly.     When gold starts underlying their currency, it’s game over for the other non-gold backed currencies.

Mississippi River Nears Historic Lows

Even with the recent rain and snow, the Mississippi River is continuing its decline toward historic lows.    Low water, due to the worst U.S. drought since 1956, has already impeded the flow of billions of dollars worth of goods to the Gulf of Mexico.     A further drop in river levels could halt commercial shipping traffic entirely by this weekend.    Not only would the shutdown affect thousands of jobs but it will severely diminish trade.

A New York Times op ed pretty much sums up the goals of the mainstream media and many politicians in both political parties; in that, they want to trash the US Constitution.    We have laws passed that clearly are unconstitutional.    We have Supreme Court Justices openly stating they ignore the Constitution in their rulings.    We have, for the time being, a soft tyrannical dictatorship in the US that could turn hard at any time.    The sad part is, the US Constitution has already been trashed for quiet some time.

In many places, mayors, government employees and police officers have simply helped themselves to city funds, giving themselves higher and higher salaries and creating new privileges for themselves.    With pension demands, cities are going broke and public safety is being compromised.   Sounds like these cities could use a little more Obama money.

According to a new Foreign Military Intelligence report circulating in the Kremlin, Hillary Clinton was injured and a US Navy Seal was killed a few weeks back when a C-12 aircraft carrying them crashed in Iran.     Things are pretty bad when it is easier to believe a report from the Kremlin than it is to believe the main stream media, or State Department.

CFTC Can’t Release Findings of Silver Probe

Harvey Organ, who follows the day-to-day trades in the Crimex err…    COMEX says that the CFTC silver probe has concluded; however, the findings will never be released.    This is because if it did, the financial system would collapse.    In addition, he says that the COMEX is settling allocated delivery & storage requests with paper only.    He goes on to say that because of the extreme physical shortages of silver, the manipulation could end as soon as March.   We will see.

New York City Citizens Slammed

Well, it looks like the citizens of New York City are going to have to bend over and pony up more than 1.5 billion dollars.    This is because the public pension-fund investments failed to meet their statutory goal of 8%.    In fact, with 1.37%, the fund did worse than the stock market!   Hell, gold and silver rose by 6% and 9% this year respectfully.
