Existing home sales have dropped to the lowest level in 19 months.    In addition, sales of houses costing 0 to 100 dollars fell 18%.    Wow!    That’s cheap unless one includes those non disclosed expenses like back taxes.     Anyways, aside from the weather being blamed, yet again, now we are hearing that student loans are now being blamed.

A Texas court, in direct contradiction to the U.S. Constitution has ruled that evidence, collected illegally, can be used in court.      For example, unwarranted searches yielding criminal evidence, which could have been planted by police themselves, can be legally used.     In short, if this is allowed to stand, the only right a person will have is the right to die.

According to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission’s latest report, if only eight substations are destroyed, the U.S. power-grid could be down for 18 months.      It makes one wonder with all these attacks at substations lately after the U.S. government has completed power-grid drills.    If the power-grid does go down, 9 out of 10 Americans would be dead within one year.   What would you do without power for 18 months or longer?

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the seasonally adjusted price index for uncooked ground beef jumped 3.8% from January to February.     It is now at a new record high of $3.73.     We will hear is that it is the weather as Yellon has suggested for the overall economy.

Only after the New York Attorney General announced an investigation into the relationship between high-frequency trading firms and major exchanges, did the CFTC finally apparently stop counting their kickbacks and announce an investigation into high frequency trading.     Like the bogus CFTC silver investigation, one can expect the CFTC to take years and find no wrong doing.

According to John Hathaway, historically, during a period of geopolitical tension, the U.S. dollar has been a strong currency.    With the current crisis in the Ukraine, there should be a reflex move into the dollar and away from other currencies, but the opposite is happening.     Is this a major sign that the Dollar has lost its place as the world’s reserve currency?    We will see.
