131207 – NYPD’s Shooting Spree

Today’s Items:

Cyberattacks On Banks

According to Symantec, big banks are being hit with a cyberattack every minute of every day and are becoming more powerful and sophisticated.     In one attack, thieves got away with between 73 million to 2.5 billion dollars.     Anyone else see a possible “Black Swan” event here?

Shanghai Exchange

According to John Ing, the Shanghai Gold Exchange has now delivered more gold than what is supposedly stored at Fort Knox.    The Chinese have consumed about 1,700 tons of gold in just the first eight months of this year.     They are moving to replace the overprinted dollar in world trade as they accumulate more physical gold to back up their currency.

The good news is that the official U.S. unemployment rate hit a 5 year low of 7% as non-farm payrolls rose by 203,000.    The bad news is that most of those jobs gains were low paying jobs; such as, food services and temp jobs in seasonal hiring.   In addition, it turns out that 41% of all the new hires were government jobs!     So, as 91.3 million are not in the labor force and the real unemployment rate is actually 11.3%, we have ole Botox Pelosi stating that extending unemployment benefits is the one of best ways to grow the economy.

Personal Income

U.S. personal income dropped 0.1% month over month.    It is the largest drop since February 2010.    In addition, the savings rate dropped from 5.2 to 4.8% as durable good spending is up 0.77%.    Meaning, more people are going deeper into debt.

Best Vice-President Ever?

Obama actually stated that Biden would go down as one of the best Vice President’s ever.    Yes, the man who said…    “If we do everything right, if we do it with absolute certainty, there’s still a 30% chance we’re going to get it wrong.

Gas Tax

Representative Blumenauer, of Oregon, wants to double the federal gas tax from 18.4 to 33.4 cents per gallon.    The measure also would raise the federal tax on diesel fuel from 24.4 to 42.8 cents per gallon.    His reasoning is to offset lost revenue due to fuel-efficient cars.

NYPD’s Shooting Spree

In another example of the NYPD’s policy of shoot first and never ask questions, the NYPD took it upon themselves to try to shoot an unarmed mentally disturbed man, who was wandering through traffic outside New York’s Police Authority Bus Terminal, but instead they shot two female bystanders.  The mentally disturbed man now faces 25 years in prison.

Finally, please prepare now for the escalating economic and social unrest.    Good Day!
