Behind the public political facade, a choice is brewing in Germany…    Align with the U.S. or Russia.     Currently, when asked in separate questions to which country Germans should make themselves dependent upon on foreign policy, 69% favored the U.S. while 75% favored Russia.   Believe it or not, this did not start with the NSA spying on Germans but when Germany disagreed with President Bush to invade Iraq after 9/11.

Food Inflation

The consumer price of ground beef in May rose 10.4% from a year earlier while pork chop prices climbed 12.7%.     The price of fresh fruit rose 7.3% and oranges 17.1%.    Cereals and bakery products were up just 0.1% and vegetable prices inched up only 0.5%.     The U.S. Department of Agriculture predicts overall food prices will increase 2.5% to 3.5% this year.     Anyone else see a disconnect?

A second federal judge has ordered the criminals at the IRS to explain how two years of Lois Lerner’s emails were lost.     Lerner was the former head of the agency’s tax-exempt division that obviously targeted Obama’s domestic enemies.     So, is Lois Lerner going to Fort Marcy Park soon?

There is one good piece of news coming out of the Obama’s border inaction.     The Department of Homeland Insecurity now needs 3.7 billion dollars in emergency funds because all of those children.     Needless to say, many in Congress, this close to election, are not up for it.     Obama, and those who support illegal immigration, are finding out that there are consequences; such as not being able to buy massive amounts of bullets anymore.
