Kicking Spain Out?
http://www.telegraph.co.uk

While it was absolutely necessary to fall over backwards to help Greece, the same cannot be said for Spain, and soon Italy. Mario Draghi’s promise to do “whatever it takes” to save the euro may mean more urgent measures when it comes to Spain.    If being kicked out of the euro-zone is Spain’s only option, hopefully, they will follow Iceland’s example and remain free.

U.S. Consumer Spending Increases
http://www.reuters.com

The good news is that consumer spending increased 0.5 percent in August.   The bad news is that 70 percent of the increase was due to gas increasing by 28.2 cents per gallon.   Remember that energy price increases are not counted in the official inflation calculations.   Translation: stagflation.

America Turns to Mobile News
http://washingtonexaminer.com

According to a Pew Research Center survey, more people are turning to social network sites, online news and websites like Drudge Report to get their news.   Those getting their news from TV is down to 55 percent and only 23 percent read a newspaper.    Fully 29 percent of Americans under 25 said they didn’t pay attention to news.    A possible reason is that more and more people are sick and tired of being lied to being lied and intellectually insulted by these corporate has-beens.

Germany intends to be one of the first countries to try to put the brakes on high-frequency trading.    This practice has been, wrongfully, blamed for the rattling of financial markets across the globe.   If an investigation of who programmed these trades into these computers is done, then the real financial terrorists will be clearly identified.

Gold Shorts To Panic As $1900 Key Level is Breached
http://kingworldnews.com

John Hathaway would not be surprised if we see gold and silver track sideways for a while; however, once gold takes out the $1900 mark, gold may no longer creep, but skyrocket up further.    Of course, the news that 39% of gold mining in South Africa is offline is definitely a bullish indicator for gold.   The nice thing is that silver will not be far behind.

JP Morgan Shorting Paper As They Acquire Physical?
http://www.silverdoctors.com

As the end game is being played out, JP Morgan could be letting the paper fly as they grab the physical.    In fact, both silver and gold are being hoarded by the bullion banks.    Although, there is nowhere enough physical to cover the paper, there is enough, in a massive global meltdown crisis, to make the initial apparent deliveries of physical before it becomes too dangerous and cost prohibitive, to the customer, for the actual physical delivery.   In short, JP Morgan may only have to put forth the illusion that they can service physical delivery in a crisis situation.

In response to the increased hostilities between China and Japan, a senior adviser to the Chinese government has called for an attack on the Japanese bond market to precipitate a funding crisis.   At $230 billion, China is Japan’s biggest creditor and could do considerable economic damage to Japan by dumping their bonds.   China’s true colors are shining through as Chinese hackers take down 19 Japanese websites.   This is what the Chinese are going to try on the US after they’re done with Asia.

Tungsten Filled 10 Ounce Pamp Suisse Gold Bar
http://www.silverdoctors.com

When reputable dealers are finding they have tungsten hidden within 10 ounce serial numbered gold bars, you know things are getting bad.    With the second discovery of tungsten filled gold bars, it is best to have gold and silver that are coins of one ounce, or less.   Even though the FBI and the Secret Service are supposedly investigating, it is relatively easy to imagine who the professional counterfeiters are in this fraud.   It will most likely lead right back to HSBC and their activities with gold and money laundering.    Trust, the essential commodity for a bank’s existence, is being lost by many banks’ own actions.

A federal judge has, yet again, ruled that the Government, without cause, can detain Americans indefinitely.   Fear and the Middle East riots definitely had a decisive influence in this poorly rendered decision.   Bruce Afran, a co-counsel representing the plaintiffs, suspects the White House has been relentless in this case because they are already employing the NDAA to imprison Americans, or plan to shortly.

Debt Warning
http://www.youtube.com

Davincij15, one of my first subscribers, makes an excellent point about debt in a financial collapse situation.    Do not put yourself deeper into debt, thinking that the price of gold and silver will pull your backside out of the fire when their value takes off.    Governments, through price controls and other manipulations, will make that very hard at first.    The wise thing is to get out, and stay out, of debt.
