15% Food Price Surge

News Flash:

As a result of the drought that has hit the US, South America, Russia, and Southern Europe, expect food prices to surge. In fact, as a result of reduced feed, farmers have begun slaughtering more pigs and cattle, temporarily increasing the meat supply; however, there will be a steep rise when the production of meat slows. Needless to say, poor Wilbur is panicked and desperately looking for Charlotte.

Pork could increase by 31 percent while beef could increase by 8%. Remember, milk and other animal related foods will also increase dramatically as well.
