Bullion Smuggling In India

Because of all the restrictions and high duties, bullion smuggling is outstripping narcotics with India’s population.    In a sign of the times, Indian whistleblowers, who help bust illegal gold shipments, can get a bigger reward than those who help catch cocaine and heroin smugglers.    The World Gold Council estimates that 150 to 200 tonnes of smuggled gold will enter India in 2013, on top of the 900 tonnes of official demand.

While China is accumulating massive amounts of physical gold, they have been methodically eradicating the use of the U.S. dollar in bi-lateral trade with most of their largest trading partners.    China’s “check-mate” strategy against the U.S. dollar is to end all trade using U.S. dollars and roll out a new currency backed by gold.    There’s really no way of determining the time-frame for the actual event; however, it is in the foreseeable future; thus, prepare accordingly.

NSA Fallout Escalates

In the aftermath of the June 6th revelations by Ed Snowden, trust in internet and technology companies has all but evaporated.    All but a very few of these U.S. companies have actively betrayed the confidence of their customers by handing over sensitive information to the NSA and it is now impacting their business’ globally.    China’s anger is still rising as they have given CISCO a needed anal exam and restricted that company, and others, access into the growing Chinese market.

Since 1998, more than 50,000 computer networks, worldwide, have been infected with malicious software designed to steal sensitive information by the NSA.    It is interesting that anti-virus companies mysteriously could not detect this threat.    Makes you wonder how many Blue Screens of Death and dead computers they’ve produced over the years.     What is more interesting is that government lawyers are claiming in U.S. courts that Americans cannot legally challenge the NSA’s surveillance programs.    So, could the NSA be held responsible for property damage then?    Keep in mind, with agencies; such as the CIA and the NSA, global discussion of their illegal activities is considered a failure on their part.
