The internet has been a buzz about a possible asteroid hitting somewhere in the Atlantic in September, and now, a spokesman for NASA, the agency that failed to see the large bus-sized asteroid that buzzed the earth in March, states that they know of no asteroid or comet currently on a collision course with Earth and that nothing is going to hit us for hundreds of years. If this is true, how come the big push for Ready.gov and their blue preparedness booths and September being National Preparedness Month?
