Call for Change In Unemployment Measures

News Flash:

Rep. Duncan Hunter (R-Calif.) intends to press GOP leaders to move on a bill that would more accurately depict the unemployment situation. A situation that the Obama administration wants hidden from the public during an election year.

This bill, that will most likely not see the light of day, would also include the number of individuals who gave up looking for work in the percentage of jobless claims.

Pelosi Predicts 6-3 In Favor of Obamacare

News Flash:

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, who should be in a straight jacket, claims that the Supreme Court will find Obamacare contitutional.  If this is true, then why is Obama verbally assaulting the Supreme Court?   What we may actually find out folks is the Supreme Court finding Obamacare unconstitutional in a 6-3 decision.

My best guess is that Elena Kagan, Sonia Sotomayor, and Ruth Bader (Buzzy) Ginsburg are in the minority opinion. Seriously, would you be surprised?

Doctor Panels Recommend Fewer Tests for Patients

News Flash:

A group of nine medical specialty boards plans to recommend that doctors perform 45 common tests and procedures less often, and to urge patients to question these services if they are offered.  The recommendations represent an unusually frank acknowledgment by physicians that many profitable tests and procedures are performed unnecessarily and may harm patients.  So, for all these years, doctors did not have the patients best interest in mind, but to make a fast buck?  Gee, who could have seen that coming?

Another so-called benefit from rising medical costs.
